I think using Botox for crows feet area wrinkles is one of the most tricky applications. Occasionally, as you noticed, the area on the sides gets relaxed, and the wrinkles go away, but the area underneath can actually get worse, or seem worse. Sometimes it needs additional Botox or Microbotox injection... more

I recently had botox for the first time in the crow's feet area and have also experienced an increase in wrinkles under the eyes as well as the cheek not lifting as well on one side. It has been nearly a month now and I'm not seeing much change. I will not get this procedure done again and I can't wait for it to wear off. I think I looked better before botox with the crow's feet. How long can I expect this to last?

Everyone here is experiencing the same negative results from using botox to erase crow's feet. Can somebody please tell us how to fix the problems we are experiencing? Is there something we can do that does not require surgery or more injections? Please advise us.

Relax...5 days is way too soon to fully evaluate results. Often, once the Botox works well to smooth the crows feet, people begin to notice other areas that were not their primary concern. Maybe it's worse, but maybe it looks worse in contrast to the smoother lateral eye area. If the possible swelling does not inprove,1-2 units of Botox placed just below the eyelashes works to reduce this crepiness. Be sure your Cosmetic Surgeon is very experienced to treat this area.

Hello Jennifer R. I am so very sorry you are going through this too. I feel for you big time, and you are not alone! All of the things you described happened to me too. I got my injections on 2/7. I noticed last wkend a huge improvement!!! The crow's feet area is beginning to "thaw out" and come back to life - I actually see some movement in this area, therefore my baggy sags are not as bad. Keep me posted and let me know how you are doing.

I have had the same thing happen to me. Has anyone seen any improvement? I'm a teacher and I try not to smile, what a horrible thing to happen. I have 2 weddings and 2 trips coming up and do not want to get any pictures taken. How long does this last?

I will join the chorus too and say, I look awful after having my eyes botoxed. The relaxed under eye muscles also give me bags and make me look five years older -- rather than younger than I am. I also look scary when I smile and I get shampoo in my eyes when I shower because I can't shut my eyes tightly enough. I also won't ever do my frown lines again for the same reason -- not lifting my inner eyebrows gives me a serious and 'ugly' look when I smile, and gives me hoods on my upper eyelids. In spite of my wrinkles, my smile has always been pretty, now I look freaky.

Ive had the same thing happen to me!! Im embarrassed to smile and been using retin A to smooth out the wrinkles under the eyes since laser is way out of my price range. What I did find for a temporary fix is from University Medical Face Lift. Wrinklefree eyes 20 minute lift system. Its a micro-charged patch that you leave on for 20 min. Its very temporary, only a few days so far but at least I can smile…. This sucks because Ive had Botox before and this never happen?. I also went back to the Dr and got some injected under my eyes. NO results, a waste of money if you ask me
