Worse Wrinkles After a Glycolic Peel on Hands

I did a Glycolic peel on my hands b/c my skin is thinning too much and I'm only 47 and now my hands are more wrinkled than ever and my hands look like I'm 65 or 70 it is awful.. I didn't get red or peel after the peel so I'm wondering if it even worked well. No pain at all on my hands during procedure and I only left it on about 4 mins.. Is this normal? Any help would be great!
