I was recently diagnosed with tarsal tunnel in the same leg and have been going through sclerotherapy recently. I finished my 2nd round of it. I had reflux in both legs, and after the 1st treatment, more reflux was uncovered in the left leg. I have one more appointment to see if anything else has been uncovered, that would require more treatments. I'm concerned with how safe it is to have so much treatments. I feel certain areas need more attention. Like my left foot.

Thank you for your question.Local anesthesia can cause specific symptoms if the dose is above that recommended per Kg of body weight. I have never seen or read about chills being a side effect of vein treatments such as endovenous ablation, tumescent anesthesia or local anesthesia or...
Some minor swelling over the treated veins is normal post sclerotherapy but if you have significant swelling in the ankles, please see your physician as this may indicate an excessive reaction or underlining blood clot. Properly measured graduated compression stockings should help.
Most likely the indentations will not disappear following forehead vein removal but at least you will eliminate the veins. You have 2 choices---leave the veins alone with the indentations or treat the veins and see if the indentations resolve.
