Without Removing Any Teeth, Can I Have Perfect Teeth? (photo)

Most of my teeth, except my right canine, are fine. Although I really want to fix my teeth, I don't want to remove any of my tooth, is it possible though? What methods can I use?

Beautiful full smile with no teeth removed from your mouth.

It looks like you have a very common problem, that of a partially blocked out upper cuspid. This is typically the result of a smaller than idea upper jaw. The cuspid or canine teeth typically erupt into the mouth after the bicuspid teeth come in, so if there is a lack of space for all the teeth(because of the narrow upper jaw) the cuspid tooth just pops out in the gums or sticks out further than the other teeth. This problem is easily solved without the removal of permanent... more

A Smile for the Tooth Fairy!

Hi Tooth Fairy...yes, you can have a beautiful smile without any extractions. You could have a wonderful procedure called Six Month Smiles. It is designed to move the teeth in the front, correcting their position and closing gaps and aligning them properly. This is done with CLEAR wires just like regular braces. This process will move the teeth faster than invisaign. In six months, and maybe with some contouring, your smile will look amazing! Look up Six Month Smiles... more

Do I need a tooth out to have straight teeth?

Based on your photo your upper left canine sticks out; you have a gap in the centre. I would expand the upper arch and use the space in the center to align the tooth. You may need some small enamel contouring to allow it to fit. No more than 1 years treatment.

You can have a perfect smile without removing any teeth!

You have a couple of options to correct your crooked canine, and to take your smile from good to great! If you're open to wearing braces, then orthodontics is one of your choices. The advantage to braces is that your tooth will simply be moved and it won't have to be altered and reshaped. The disadvantage is that it takes quite a bit of time to move teeth. A second option is to change the appearance of the rotated tooth by place a porcelain veneer or a crown... more

Perfect teeth

Perfect teeth are achieved when the ratio of the jaws and the teeth are in balance. Tooth removal does not give you perfect teeth. Your Dr will tell you braces or invisalign and what your ratio is and if you need teeth removed or not. The exam with your Dr will answer all your questions and even show you before and after examples

You Can Have Perfect Teeth Without Removing Any Teeth

You can correct the position of your displaced canine with proper orthodontics or Invisalign. Get a consultation with your dentist if he is an Invisalign provider, or else seek out an orthodontic consultation.

Braces without taking teeth out

It appears from your photo that the extraction of teeth would not be necessary to give you the smile you deserve. Of course, an extensive exam would be needed to fully diagnose and treatment plan. With the Damon System Braces that we use....the % of extraction of the teeth has gone from 30-35% of all patients to less than 1% of our patients. I would encourage you to go to the Damon Locator website and find a doc in your area. see video
