In Need of Scar Removal Expert Near Southeastern, WI?

I had a consultation with a surgeon in the Chicago area that told me there's nothing he can really do regarding a depressed scar I would like to improve. The area would be to difficult to treat.

Then recently, I got a 2nd opinion and this doctor suggested a laser to smooth the texture and a filler to add volume back.

I'm afraid to go through this because of the contrast in opinions and also I understand that fillers do not last and I probably cant afford to keep it up. Any other suggestions? I live in Southeastern, Wisconsin.
