Do I need to go to the ER for possible infection on my Tummy Tuck incision? (photos)

Asked By:ReadyForNewMeAt30 in Wichita, KS

I am 4 weeks, 5 days post op. My ps office is open m-th. Today of course is Saturday. I first noticed this irritated or infected spot on my TT inscision Thursday after work and have been cleaning with soap and drying, then putting antibacterial ointment on it and covering with gauze pad. It is irritating and feels itchy where as the rest of my incision feels fine and is not red. What can I do to help until Monday or is this something I need to go to ER for ?
