I am 5.5 months post-facelift and have noticed a white bleached patch behind my ear. I am worried about skin necrosis because I am a smoker, although I didn't smoke 10 days before and after surgery. None of the literature on skin necrosis tells me how long after surgery I can stop worrying about skin necrosis developing. I used a very reputable surgeon and had a check up about 2 weeks ago and he didn't say anything at the time.

You are too young for a facelift and I don't think fillers would do much in your situation and would not be worth the substantial cost. You should have nothing done at this point, your face looks fine to me.
