White Ink Tattoo Removal?

Hi! I have a tattoo that is mostly black, but has some white on the tips. How does removal of the white pieces work? Can I ask the specialist not to laser those pieces? I am very pale so those pieces can not be seen very well as it is.

Removal of white tattoo ink.

Laser treatment of white ink can lead to darkening of the ink. White ink is usually contains zinc oxide or titanium which will oxidize when treated with a laser and turn black. I think it would be wise to ask the laser tech to avoid those areas or perform a test spot on them. Hope this helps.
