I had chin, neck, and jowl liposuction 7 wks ago. Right side of my face appears disproportionate. There is a long indention, dimples, & grooves along the jawline, that looks like scarring or lipotrop. I also have less elasticity in my neck. I saw my BC cosmetic surgeon 2 wks ago who told me that there was still some swelling and to come back in 2 mths. I know it takes time to heal, but this just doesn't look right. I also have what appears to be bruising (discoloration) along the jawline. Comment.

Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Elevating your head (higher than your heart) after liposuction to the neck using an incline (not necessarily sitting up) will decrease swelling and speed healing
I am sorry you're having a setback in your recovery. You have some excess skin and the fat was removed so the extra slack skin is wrinkling on itself and is swollen - giving the appearance of "worms under the skin". The correct treatment may have been a proper necklift but in this situation...
