Visible, ill-fitting underwear or lack of underwear draws attention to itself, takes away from the look of the garment and can sabotage your overall image. Bulging breasts, thong and bra straps that show are examples of this.

Underwear garment garments are there to keep everything firm and in place. Because they form the foundation for all your garments, it’s imperative to get the right size and the right style.

Most of us have one or more clothes in our wardrobe not fitting to us but we emotionally cannot let it go. Then, make your choice either by realistically setting a goal to fit in it - but keep in mind if it’s still in today’s current fashion - OR take a picture and say goodbye.

Buying the size you ‘think’ you are rather than the one you actually are!

In this case size really doesn’t matter! Retail sizes vary so much that you may be a 14 in one store and 10 in another. At this moment in time, my wardrobe has size 8 to 14 in it and they all fit me well!

One simple piece of advice is to pick up the size you think you are plus the one below and the one above and just buy the one that fits – ignore the number on it. The only true gauge of weight gain is if your existing jeans won’t do up!
