Home remedies for Dark Circles

Everything you ever needed to get rid of dark circles and puffy eyes is in your kitchen.

Commonly dark circles are caused by stress, lack of sleep or exhaustion.

A few tips that can help:

  • Place a cotton ball with lavender essential oil on it inside your pillow case for aide in sleeping.
  • Put 4 drops of lavender essential oil into 1 oz of sweet almond oil. Apply under the eyes at night.
  • Apply chamomile tea bags on eye lids for 10-15 minutes.
  • Use a good under eye creme that uses chamomile essential oil.
  • And my favorite...slice a raw potato and apply to eye lids for 10-15 minutes - red, purple, and gold potatoes all work great, but save the russets for an amazing hand and foot soak.

Most importantly, good nutrition, exercise and plenty of water will all help reduce stress, which will aide in sleeping and will ultimately reduce dark circles.
