When purchasing a UPF Sun Protective Apparel item, you should buy only from a reputable company that only carries quality UPF clothing.

As this product has become more popular, there are many companies that claim they are experts and that only their sun protective clothing and/or rating system is the best. This is absolutely not true!

If a product has a UPF rating, it has gone through a vigorous testing and certification process that includes washing the garment dozens of times before being tested to ensure its sun protective factor.

The UPF certification system, first developed for Australia/New Zealand Standards and were the pioneers in this technology, is now the defacto and most reliable wordwide standard.

Sun Protective Clothing can save lives and is not just for the beach or swimming. UPF Clothing is now also made for gardening, running, walking, jogging, biking, hiking, traveling, etc. and can be fashionable and functional for everyday wear.
