A VelaShape treatment involves using a lubricant on the body area to be treated and placing the VelaShape head onto the skin. Patients will experience a massage-like feeling and some warmth. The treatment takes between 20-40 minutes depending on how many areas are being treated. It is quite comfortable.

I just had my first session of Vela Shape on the front of my thighs. It felt a little 'pinchy' and warm. It took me a few minutes before I could actually relax as I didn't think it was a comfortable procedure. She did 20 min. on each leg & will increase each time up to 30 min. I was told. I do have little 'hickey' type bruises more on my left leg than my right. I bought a package of 5 with 5 free so a total of 10. Don't know if I'll use all 10 on the front of the thighs, it will depend on the results.
