By providing a consultation with loads of questions. A caring colorist will ask about your hair color history, styling habits, home hair care regimen.

Then, a scalp and hair analysis should be performed to determine the health of your scalp and competency of your hair to receive a new or another chemical service.

The hair must be given proper moisture and protein treatments before the chemical application, during the chemical application and after the chemical application process has been completed.

Heavy-duty protein must be applied to the hair because it will add strength to the hair and allow the hair to bond to get it ready for all of those chemicals. The application of protein and moisturizer restores and protects the hair. Another tip, is as always, use a good shampoo.
