Reducing Artefill in Nose Tip

I had artefill injected into the tip of my nose about 8 months ago. Unlike my previous injections, this artefill treatment made my nose look bigger and bulbous initially and has been going down painfully slowly for the last 8 months. While it is improving, it is doing so at a very slow rate and I am not sure why or what is going on. I feel some space in the tip of my nose that may have fluid in it. What is going on and can I help speed up the healing process?

I had Artefill injected on the bridge and tip of my in July this year. The tip of my nose is bulbous too. My nose looks wider overall, which I am not happy about. It still looks better than the nose I was born with, but my nose has looked better in the past with other fillers. Everything I've read now about Artefill seems to indicate that it will take a long time for it to go down. Previously I had been getting Radiesse to shape my nose but that filler dissolved after about 5 months. I wanted something longer lasting so I chose Artefill. My nose looks different than with Radiesse. I like how it looked better with that filler. Artefill doesn't give you sharp line, it appears rounder, softer, bulkier and it seems to behave different than Radiesse in terms of how it settles and changes over time. I think I would still use Artefill again, however, my recommendation is ask your doctor to be very conservative with the amount she/he injects. And go in for multiple visits to get some injected little by little. I know this requires a lot of time and patience but if you are going with Artefill, it is the best thing to do.

Getting the product added little by little sounds like very good advice since you can always add more, but can't take it away.
