What can I do to emotionally prepare for plastic surgery?

Make sure you are clear about what you dislike. Make sure your aspirations and expectations are reasonable. Make sure you are doing it for you. Your surgeon can help you with all these concepts.

Patients considering facial plastic surgery should do all they can to insure success. They should have a close support group around them of relatives and friends. They should do all they can as far as instituting skin care, stop smoking, limit drinking and herbals…but most of all maintain a positive attitude and not be ashamed to ask all questions and be fully informed by their doctor.
