Makeover is one aspect of image consulting

A makeover is just one (probably the most known) of the many services that an expert in image consulting can offer. It can focus on one specific area (e.g. hairstyle change) or be more extensive - when needed, from head to toe.

Among other image consulting services:

  • visual appearance: personal shopping, wardrobe management, colour and body analysis, image update, hairstyling/make-up demos
  • communication: verbal and non-verbal training
  • etiquette: business and social

Some consultants choose one or a few areas of expertise, while many take a more holistic approach in their business.

Makeover focuses on the outside appearance in a short time. You can look great in a short time with a makeover. However, Image consulting is much deeper than a makeover. You discover a lot about yourself and your potential, which is sleeping somewhere inside of you. Image is not window-dressing. Image is a continuous progress that you can manage throughout your life.
