Ongoing drainage 2 weeks after tummy tuck

Hi there- It is not unusual for patients to still have some drainage 2 weeks after surgery, although it should be steadily declining in volume. The color and odor you describe is concerning as well- Your best bet would be to contact your surgeon as soon as possible and visit for an exam.

High drainage

The drainage for 2 weeks after a tummy tuck of 75 ml a day is high.  It certainly should not still have the color of blood at this point. If it smells that is concerning! Sounds like you need to have your PS check you carefully! Dr. ES

Drainage 2 weeks after tummy tuck

Yes, it is possible but what you describe is of concern. Have you been seen by the operating surgeon? If not GO ASAP! You might have an infected hematoma/seroma. Please get care NOW! From MIAMI DR. B
