Stay in close contat with your PS.

You really should keep the lines of communication open with your surgeon.  You should keep him/her notified of your pain and see if you should go in for additional testing.  The condition may have worsened.  see video

Chest Pain

It sounds like you had a good initial evaluation.  However, since you continue to have the pain, the issue is not resolved.  Please make sure that you follow closely with your plastic surgeon and and consulting physicians.  And, if any worsening pain, shortness of breath or for any other concern, do not be embarrassed or afraid to go directly to the emergency room for an evaluation.  Our #1 concern is patient safety.   Good Luck.

Undiagnosed chest pain after tummy tuck.

Your first round  work up found nothing to attribute your pain to.  Now have the the investigation done again, if you a still symptomatic.  Sometimes, it takes a while before an answer can be found.  The acuity of the symptoms pushes the doctor to continue a search for answers.

4 Weeks After Tummy Tuck and Having Strange Chest Pains (Not Heart, DVT or Lung Related)

Very hard to advise in your circumstance. Sounds like your PS has started in the correct direction. Why no VQ scan for PE? The color of the left drainage is of concern. Seek more help. From MIAMI DR. Darryl j. Blinski

Chest pain after tummy tuck

This is a concerning problem.  Good news sounds like it is nothing serious. Possible candidates include pleurisy, effusion, muscle strain, small areas of lung that collapse.  Ask your ps if motrin may be in order.

Chest pain after tummy tuck

There are a lot of reason to have pains after a tummy tuck but there is no way to give any legitimate answer to your situation.  You have already mentioned some of them.  Certainly there can be a lot of muscle-skeletal pains but you need to discuss this with your personal surgeon. Best Wishes Dr. Peterson

Chest pain not a question for internet opinion

Everyone will be hesitant to offer an opinion on this other than go back to your surgeon.  I am glad he sent you for initial work up, but there may be other tests he desires now.
