I'm Having Lipo & BBL Procedure Done. Is It Ok to Use a TENS Unit to Manage Pain?

I'm having Lipo & BBL procedure done in less than a week. Is it ok to use a TENS unit to manage the pain without meds or will the electric currents jeopardize the integrity of the trasnferred fat cells trying to regenerate new nerve connections???? Should I or can I just use the TENS unit on the Lipo'd areas only? The bottom line is...is it ok? If not, understood. If it is, then what are my benefits and limitations?
