Revision Rhinoplasty: Q&A

I'm 8 Days Post Rhinoplasty. I Used a Tweezer to Carefully Remove Dried Up Blood, Accidentally Removed Cotton Knots? (photo)

I'm 8 days post rhinoplasty (revision). I used a tweezer to carefully remove dry blood through my nostrils at the tip area. I then accidently tweezed out about three of these super small cotton knots. Did I sabotage an aspect of the rhinoplasty in some way? What are these for anyway?

Post Rhinoplasty Care

The sutures you removed from your nose following your rhinoplasty probably were absorbable sutures. In all likelihood these would have fallen out on their own. However, check with your surgeon before you attempt to remove any other sutures. Best wishes.
