I am 1 month post-op and as the swelling goes down, I feel and now see a slight rippling in the cleavage area. I have 275cc Mentor Siltex Mod profile Breast implants filled to 300cc.

I'm going back in 4 weeks to help along the left one, since my plastic surgeon said it's not dropping like it should. I wonder if topping them off with another 25cc while I'm in would be a good idea to fill out the rippling?

I don't want to go bigger but I want them firm, perky and in place without the ripples.

Have your surgeon advise you here

Hello, What does your surgeon recommend? Mentor saline implants at that size range have a recommended fill tolerance of 25 cc. If you have 275's at 300 cc they are already at the top of their fill tolerance. That means making them larger will likely require a new implant be placed. A "sit down" with your surgeon is probably your next best step to figuring what you might do.

You might consider silicone gel

First of all it is important to know where your implants were placed either above or below the muscle. One reason in my practice I like to place implants under the muscle is the it provides a "thicker layer of tissue cover" over the breast implant which lessens the chance of any implant visibility, wrinkling, or rippling. It is unclear from your information where your implants are. All saline implants will have ripples in them as they sit on the chest wall- it's just a matter of... more
