Non Surgical Nose Job: Q&A

Ask a Question

Vascular Occlusion Question. Looks Like my Face is Aging Faster? (photo)

A month ago I received an injection above my nose to straighten the bridge and on the same day I noticed my entire nose became red with a reticular pattern. My entire nose is covered (still a month later) with a horrid redness and a day later there was a bleeding ulcer on my forehead. The surgeon who did the injection gave me nitropaste which I received three days later. Should I get the filler dissolved? Is there a chance that my skin is still starved of some blood? Will the redness ever fade

Really??? No one has suggestions to help me treat this redness? I've been very depressed about this...
Any suggestions? :-(
I recently talked to my physician and what he had to say made me a feel a little bit better although I would just like some additional feedback on some things. I asked if putting retin a on the red areas would help at all and he stated that retin a in fact initially whitens red skin but may cause redness in light unirritated skin. I have also neglected my benzoyl peroxide treatments due to fear of increasing redness and irritation and am trying to treat proliferating blackheads. Would benzoyl peroxide cause any visible irritation? Would retin a be an acceptable choice?
