I got the scar from hitting my head on the edge of a counter (2 weeks before my wedding - that's my luck). This was June 6th, 2 1/2 months ago. I got sub-dermal stitches and they put glue across the top to help minimize scarring. However, the stitches didn't dissolve and have been surfacing in little pieces - the scar was raised for quite a while. Now (10 weeks later) the scar is still quite red. I hesitate to use anything chemical/abrasive but want it gone as soon as possible!!
