Skin Lightening: Q&A
Ask a QuestionHow To Treat Upper Lip Dark Spots? (photo)
I am a 30 year old male. I have had these brown spots forever-probably congenital. They are not growing in size nor changing color-not present in any other part of my body Dermatologists seem not to know what it is exactly but one told me it could be a "dilated sabaceous cyst/gland " I have tried some bleaching creams with no effects. I wonder if laser can work on them or tattooing the whole upper lip if possible?

Fordyce spots on lips
It looks like what you have is a variant of Fordyce spots on lips. These are exuberant proliferation of sebaceous glands, sometimes triggered by sun exposure and/or smoking. I would start with conservative prescription topical retinoid.
