Post-op Upper Eyelid Surgery - Oozing

I had upper eyelid surgery yesterday morning. The stitches in one eye are still oozing.  I have been faithfully doing the ice cold gauze pad compresses, staying upright even when sleeping. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Oozing out of an incision demands a call to the surgeon.

Any significant drainage from an upper eyelid incision should be reported to the surgeon. It may be nothing of concern, but a small hematoma would best be drained. It's too early for an infection.
