Hooded and asymmetrical eyelids

The goal of an upper blepharoplasty is to remove excess skin and fat creating the hooded look. When asymmetry is present, asymmetrical surgery is performed to make the eyelids look symmetrical. For many examples, please see the link to our photo gallery below

Uneven Eyelids and Eyes

It is not uncommon to have facial asymmetries. This includes eyes and eyelids but, there are some disorders such as ptosis that may be the cause of the asymmetries. It is recommended to be evaluated by a plastic surgeon.
