Uneven Collagen After Mixto C02 Laser

I had fairly heavy facial and neck laser on 4/1/11. As of today 6/20/11,I see collagen regrowth--there are lots of odd-shaped whitish raised areas on my cheek and upper lip. I expected even collagen growth, is this is normal & will it fill in & smoothen out? Sure seems unlikely. I am very unhappy with my skin texture as it now appears. Also some pores are larger, esp. around nasal area, look like blackheads, but aren't. Thankfully, my post-inflamatory pigmentation has mostly faded w/Kligmans.
