Ultrapulse CO2 Laser for Eye Bags and Wrinkles?

I am 40 years old and my surgeon wants to use the Ultrapulse CO2 laser around my eyes. I am concerned that this may not be the right thing for me.

I orginally wanted a lower Blepharoplasty too but he says that the CO2 is best for the bags and fine lines and wrinkles. My other concern is the down time that the CO2 will cause. I can't afford to be down for more than one week. I work full time and have a small child to take care of. Will I be happy with this? Thanks!
