Ultra Marathons and Accutane - What Will Reduce Side Effects?

I am an ultra runner that will be beginning accutane at the end of this month. Can I take joint supplements to avoid injury? Does accutane impact kidney function? I guess I am pretty nervous that accutane may not be worth the risks involved (especially since reading all the other posts noting complications). What side effects should I be aware of in the mix of ultra running and accutane? Thank you so much for your advice and time in considering my questions. Regards.
