I had abdominal surgery 8 months ago after 3 weeks of healing the incision site ruptured due to abscesses that developed after surgery. I was left with an open wound that was packed and dressed until it healed. Now I have a huge scar across my lower abdomen. The scar is slightly indented in my stomach, is hard to the touch and i don't have much feeling on the site. What type of scar is this? What are my options to return my stomach to normal or at least to a better look?
