What Type of Compression Garment is Best After Having Fat Transfer to Buttocks?

Some doctors say it is best to wear a garment that covers the buttocks in order to keep the new fat cells in place. Other doctors say it is best to wear a garment that does not cover the buttocks to avoid putting pressure on the new fat cells. So what is the best choice? Thanks

Fat Transfer Garment

I believe that a compression garment after fat transfer applies a little even gentle compression to reduce swelling and bruising and help shape the area while healing. Isolated pressure by sitting on the area or while doing certain activities or exercises may displace or even cause fat loss. Your doctor will give you the best advice in his experience.

Compression garments help after fat transfer

Comprssion garments are standard and useful after fat transfer. They help reduce bleeding and bruising. Too much pressure is bad so it is wise to minimize sitting on the buttocks after augmentation. The garments apply much less pressure than sitting.
