Is It True That You Have to Take Out Temporary Crowns To Eat?

I am having my temporary crowns tired today on my two front teeth. At my last appointment he told me I would have to take them out to eat and they may fall out when I talk. I am very nervous about this as I am a teacher and it would be quite embarrassing for this to happen as I am already ashamed. Please help an re assure me this won't happen?

Taking Out Temporary Crowns to Eat

Temporary crowns should NOT be taken out to eat. You should avoid putting too much chewing pressure on them, however, when you eat.
