I had a Tummy Tuck 30 years ago and I gained and lost weight since then. I now have "saddle bags", is there anything that can be done about them, I am 61 years old.

Depending on your skin laxity, saddle bags can either be treated with liposuction or thigh lift. The scars for a thigh lift or lower body lift would likely extend from the ends of your abdominoplasty scar, over the hip and down the buttock. Liposuction is probably your best choice.

Amelia, Go in for a consultation with a Plastic Surgeon that you trust. If you have primarily fat deposits in the saddlebag area, she or he will likely recommend liposuction. Should you also have looseness in that area, you might also need a lifting procedure, such as an outer thigh lift, to give you your best result. Be excited! This is an area where a lot of beneficial changes can usually be expected!
