I had a tummy tuck 1 yr ago, the scar was about 1/4 inch thick evenly going across my tummy, after 8 months, my sutures are not dissolving very well, with my dr's approval, I had to pull it out because it poke me. It's over a year now and its 1/2 thick instead of 1/4, and on certain area its as big as 1 inch thick, and still very itchy when I wear tight pant it itches and sometime feel burning. Do you know why this is happening? Why did the scar get thicker? Will it get better? Do I need a scar revision?
