What would be the best tuck for me? A regular tummy tuck or a mini? I am a mother of three very young kids 4, 3, and 1. I just turned 23 and love being a mom but hate what it has done to my body. I've lost 40 since my last pregnancy but I can tell by now the bottom part of my belly is not going away on its own. So what would be the best results for me a regular or mini tummy tuck? Thanks!

Mini vs full tummy tuck

I know thateveryone wants to minimmize the length of the incision, but most women who have had several children and have lost al ot of weight are best served by having a full tummy tuck as opposed to a mini.

In our practice, patients who have a small amount of muscle tightening, a little extra fat, and loose skin that is limited to the lower and central abdomen may be great candidates for a mini tummy tuck. Patients who have additional fat and skin, especially in their hips and flanks, may benefit from a regular tummy tuck. Your best bet is to work closely with a board-certified plastic surgeon who has a great deal of... more

I would recommend a full tummy tuck

Based on your degree of skin laxity and stretch marks in your lower abdmen, a fell tummy tuck would likely give you the best results.  a mini-tummy tuck would not remove all the stretch marks.
