Post op instructions for liposuction and tummy tuck

 Dear Bp8me2, your post operative instructions should come from your surgeon.  generally once your wounds are closed you can go in the water.  For my patients this is day 4 to 5 depending on when the drains are removed. With Warm Regards, Trevor M Born MD

Verify with your surgeon

You have to check with the surgeon who did the surgery. In general, you could consider this as soon as one month after surgery if there is no skin opening or infection, or localized swelling.
