I have had 3 children. I'm a former model and I have a great body. My hernia was repaired 2 times. The 3rd time waited almost a year, still not repaired, and I'm in so much pain. My General Surgeon said he will not perform hernia surgery unless the Tummy Tuck is done with it, because it is too large. He said he would have to put a mesh over my whole stomach with the Tummy Tuck procedure. I have diastasis recti that you can fit 5 fingers thru my muscles. I have tried to get insurance to cover, but it was denied, even though 3 doctors said it was nessecary. Any advice?
