Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) Helps with Loose Skin and Fat
Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) consists of several procedures that range in both length of scar and amount of skin removed. Loose Skin and Fat For Tummy Tuck
I assume you mean on your abdomen. But, yes the primary reason that we perform tummy tucks is for extra skin and fat of the abdomen. It does depend on where the excess is as a mini tummy tuck may also be an option if the excess is in the lower mid-abdomen.

Sound like a good candidate for both
A Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) sounds like it would help you. Of course, it depends on whether you should lose some weight first. The resultwillbe better if you do the weight loss first. Either way sounds like it will be an improvement.

Loose Abdominal Skin & Fat
The best candidates for full tummy tucks are patients with a good bit of excess skin who are at or near ideal body weight. Having said that, however, many women/men who are somewhat overweight can also get good results from a tummy tuck. Some liposuction can be done at the time of a tummy tuck, but I feel it is not safe to do aggressive suctioning at the same time.

Tummy tuck for loose skin and fat.
In my o.r. a "tummy tuck" consists of 4 proceedures: 1. Excision of redundant skin 2. Repair of muscle laxity 3. Liposuction 4.repair of the umbillicus. So the answer is YES!

Frequently, it can!
Hello,
Tummy Tuck patients tend to be those with loose skin who have had multiple pregnancies and/or have lost a great deal of weight and kept it off. It sounds like you may fit in here.

Tummy tuck gets rid of loose skin and excess fat
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) deals with three potential problems with abdominal wall protuberance: laxity of the abdominal wall, excess skin, and excess fat. The operation does yield predictably good results but at the expense of an incision across the lower abdomen. The dilemma for the patient is whether the trade-off is worth it.
