Work out after Liposuction?

Assuming you are doing well and there've been no complications, you should be fine returning to workouts. I would suggest gradually transitioning into your full workout routine and “listen to your body”. Also, listen to your plastic surgeon who will guide you during your recovery period.

Tummy Tuck and Tumescent Liposuction---Exercise???
Exercise is a great way to decrease the swelling and tighten loose tissues after liposuction. Yes, we do not like our patients to go straight to the gym after their procedure but after a few weeks, it is perfectly fine to return to the gym if your surgeon has no objections. Please call your plastic surgeon's office before you proceed but if everything is going well, I doubt they will object with your plans. Hope this helps and good luck!

Exercise after Liposuction
Since it has been four weeks, you should be ready for exercise of those treated areas. I hope you have already returned to cardio workouts. I have seen best results when exercise is resumed soon after lipo.
Often, our biggest problem after lipo is the "battle of the bulge." Eating right, and fitness are so important to meeting the goals most people are after. So make sure to engage in a variety of active activities so you don't suffer burnout. Also, having a friend or group...
