Will I Wear Smaller Clothes After My Tummy Tuck?

Not every patient with a tummy tuck wears smaller clothing sizes afterwards. Some just look a lot better in their old size. The person most likely to decrease size is the one with a larger fat depot in the the lower abdomen,the part that is removed by the procedure. If you do need to buy a new wardrobe because of a decrease in clothing size it will be a nice problem to have.

Pant size after tummy tuck?

Thank you for your question and it is a very common question, not always easily answered. It is likely that the circumference of your waist will decrease after tummy tuck, especially if you are having flank liposuction too. However, it is impossible for any surgeon to promise or guarantee you an exact size or amount of decrease. This is hard to predict as it depends on how much skin is removed, how the abdominal wall is tightened, the shape of your pelvis and how you wear your pants. Ask your surgeon but you may just have to wait and see.
