Malpractice Suits and Selection of Plastic Surgeon?
Thank you for the question.
The three malpractice lawsuits in and of themselves should not exclude the plastic surgeon; you should however look further into the nature of these lawsuits ( frivolous or not) and put them in the context of how long the plastic surgeon has been practicing.
Otherwise, you should do your due diligence and ask to see lots of examples of patients the surgeon has taken care of ( in pictures and/or in person).

Some states (Pennsylvania, Illinois, Florida) are known as "judicial hell holes where the justice system is lawyer-friendly. So just because a surgeon was sued does not in itself indicate that he is a bad surgeon. You...

Evaluating malpractice claims
There are many physicians who are named in suits who happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. It really depends on the exact nature of the suits and the outcome. Were they dismissed? Were they settled? Without any more information, I can't give you any addtitional insight. Investigate more and get more information.
