Is It True That Post Care in a Form of a Mask is Compulsory After a Photofacial IPL?

A mask is not compulsory after Photofacial IPL

No,  a mask is definitely not considered a requirement after IPL

The most important thing after IPL is avoidance of significant sun exposure, as the skin will be more photosensitive and could end up with post treatment hyperpigmentation.

Mask After IPL? No

The simple answer is no.  In fact, post treatment care after IPL is pretty simple: moisturizer or aloe, sunscreen, and sun avoidance for 24 hours.

No, absolutely not. A mask of any type isn't needed after a Photofacial IPL and sometimes, could make the sensitive skin burn or react badly. This is absolutely untrue, and my offices have done over 125,000 Photofacial IPL procedures.
