Does Anyone Know if Tricare Covers IPL Treatment for Rosacea?
I am wanting IPL for broken capillaries on my cheeks and around nose (rosacea) I am wondering if anyone has experience with Tricare covering IPL therapy for rosacea. It would be great not only for my rosacea but for my freckles too. Thanks!

Insurance coverage for IPL
Tricare does not cover IPL treatments. Almost all insurance carriers have dropped coverage for these procedures, as they follow the lead of Medicare, and Medicare hasn't covered these treatments for a number of years, as they consider them "cosmetic" in nature.
