Tri-luma Cream for Dark Spots Caused by Lichen Sclerosis

I have two (quarter-size) dark spots on my back that developed after treatment with a corticosteriod cream for white patches caused by lichen sclerosis.
I have had the spots for years and they have not lightened. I am thinking about trying Tri-luma cream on these areas. Before I spend $100+ on a tube, do you think this would be helpful?
