Tretinoin and Light?

i have begun using tretinoin, ive been told that you shouldnt use it during the day, my problem is that i work a night job and sleep during the day, i also work under fluorescent lights and have been told that it deactivates tretinoin(as does other light)!!!! my question is should i use it in the daytime before i go to bed or should i just keep applying it at night?

Tretinoin application and light

Tretinoin should be applied overnight. Some branded tretinoin creams have studies that show that light does not deactivate them. But if you are using a generic, use it at night. Your lamps at work should not be a problem.
