What Treatment Would Be Best for my Acne Scars? (photo)

I have never had serious acne, but it seems every time get a pimple it leaves a scar. This has been going on since late teens, I am now in my 40's. I have tried smooth beam, erbium, fraxel and have now tried 2 sessions of pro fractional, but I still don't seem to see any improvement. I think i have a combination of large pores, ice pick scars and a few box car scars. thanks,

Your acne scars appear to be mild- not severe.

In my experience both Fraxel Erbium and Fractional CO2 lasers both improve acne scars. The degree of benefit varies but should be 50-75% softening of scars- not all scars will be gone. Some broader scars may benefit from a "scar revision". The scars may be excised using a small 2-3 mm instrument, sutured and then treated with Fractional CO2 or Fraxel laser. Acne Scars - Treatment?

I may be blind, or it may be the pictures, but I can barely make out any "scars." I see some enlarged pores and a few pits, but nothing I would call scars. Perhaps you didn't see results with all those other treatments because there wasn't much to treat. You may do better with some RetinA to work on the pores and texture as well as micro-dermabrasion or chemical peeling for light resurfacing and exfoliation.

I had exactly the same type. My doctor recommended me invicible scars. I used it for like around 2 months, mine were an year old, and IS flattened them. I was also asked to give proper home care too as it is essential for treating any type of scar and marks effectively.

Invicible scars is a scar treatment cream which i used. You can google it if you like. Well, my doc asked me to take nitty gritty vitamins and minerals which backs up the healing process. Try intaking food rich in vitamin C, beta carotene, vitamin E, proteins, zinc etc. They both makes an effective combination for healing scars and marks alike

Thanks. Maybe it is the pictures? I just finished my 3rd round of pro fractional. Once I heal, I will try to post some pictures that show my scars better.
