Long pulsed Nd:YAG for laser hair removal in types IV-VI skin

Long pulsed Nd:YAG is most likely safer for types IV-VI skin for laser hair removal and has been used with very satisfactory results. You should have your skin typing analysis done via a detailed questionnaire.  IPL is safe and effective for skin types I-IV but above IV the risk of pigmentary abnormalities and burns goes up.
