How many coolsculpting treatments?

Most people will get about 20-25% thickness reduction in the zone that was treated in just one treatment session. Of course, if you re-treat the same area, you can get more of a result. It just depend on how much of a change you are trying to achieve. Many people prefer the look they get after 2 rounds.

Each patient is different and so the number of treatments will depend on what area is treated, what the goals are and what the starting point is for that specific patient. On average, we tell patients that 2 treatments will most likely be needed but if after the first treatment, the patient is satisfied with the results, there will be no need to perform the 2nd treatment. In our practice we tall all our patients to assume they will need two treatments spaced a few months apart to get desired result however most do not need the second treatment and are quite pleased with results after one.

We find in our office in Orange County CoolSculpting works very well but may require more than 1 treatment. Each person is different and you can always choose to do additional treatments until you achieve the desired results. Our average patient has 2 treatments per area.
