Keratosis Pilaris

The simplest treatment for this, which usually gives some improvement, is a 12 % Lactic Acid lotion such as Am Lactin or Lac Hydrin. These are now over the counter. If this fails a TCA peel can be done. Remember that this is not curing but is controlling the problem and if it doesn't bother him leave it alone. It will only scar if picked unless this is not true keratosis pillars. If not sure, see your dermatologist
